We will meet or exceed the InterNACHI® Residential Standards of Practice. This means that we’ll inspect the visible and accessible structure, systems and components of the home, including grade, drainage, roof, attic, structure, foundation, plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, interior and exterior, using the latest tools and technology. Following our evaluation, we’ll compile our findings in an easy-to-read report, which will include detailed descriptions and high-resolution digital photos of any issues we’ve discovered. We’ll deliver your report within 24 hours, and our job isn’t finished until you understand everything in it.
Are you selling your home? We will inspect it before you even list it. A Pre-Listing Inspection alerts you to any issues with your home so that you can address them before prospective buyers discover them. You can then take the time you need to obtain reasonable repair estimates if needed. Avoid 11th-hour negotiations and delays, and justify your full asking price by having your home for sale inspected now.
Do you need just a roof inspection? We will perform a standalone Roof Inspection to evaluate your roof from the eaves, as well as walk it (depending on roof covering material) to assess its overall condition, including the presence and status of flashing, chimneys, vents, skylights, and other penetrations.
We will visually inspect for cracks, soil separation from the edge of slabs, water stains or discoloration. We will check the crawlspace, skirting and vent openings for proper ventilation to prevent moisture buildup, barriers to animal access, separation of piers and beams, slipped or missing shims, wood deterioration, or moisture intrusion.
Whether your deck was a DIY project or professionally built, let us inspect it for critical safety features and structural strength, including: proper attachment to the home; proper deck board spacing; adequate bracing underneath; adequate infill spacing between balusters; secure posts and soil integrity; safe stair treads and graspable handrails; safe clearances from power lines; electrical and lighting features; and more.
A level-one chimney inspection includes a visual check of the fireplace and chimney without any special equipment or climbing up on the roof. The inspector will come to your house with a flashlight; look for damage, obstructions, creosote buildup, and soot; and tell you if the chimney requires sweeping.
Private wells that are constructed properly are usually safe, but problems can occur that can introduce contaminants into the water supply. I’ll check your private well for basic structural issues, and take a water sample to test it for lead, microbial pollutants, and dangerous chemicals.
Let us test your potable water supply, especially if your property has a private well, cistern or septic system. We will check it for coliform and other harmful bacteria that can endanger your family’s health.
